OUR STORY
INCONTINENT AND PROUD.
In 2019, our founder, Leigh, faced a life-altering spinal cord injury that left her paralyzed from the waist down. She was told that she would never walk again. For several months, and with the help of family and friends, Leigh persevered and eventually reclaimed her mobility against all odds. While undergoing intensive rehabilitation, and learning to walk and run again, Leigh experienced light urinary incontinence. She needed a solution to work as hard as her when she was training or doing everyday things like shopping or catching up with friends.
While there are products available, like pads, tampons and adult diapers, they were bulky, uncomfortable and definitely not good for the environment. They are, in essence, single use plastics.
Then, a friend suggested the use of leak-proof reusable underwear. This was a game-changer- incredibly comfortable, fit for purpose, environmentally friendly and cost-effective. The leak-proof reusable underwear provided a renewed sense of confidence and liberation. Not only did they address the incontinence problem but worked incredibly well for periods as well. This alternative proved to be more than a solution; it became a symbol of resilience, enabling her to embrace life's adventures without hesitation.
Today, Leigh’s mission is to share this empowering solution with the world, ensuring that individuals facing similar challenges can reclaim their freedom, dignity, and joy.
